If you are interested in buying a Westin timeshare, you could do it either through the resale or retail markets.  While some prefer to get their timeshares through the retail market, if you prefer to to buy at a lower price you may buy the timeshares through resale.  Getting the timeshares from the retail market may have the advantage of providing you with some kind of reward that may be a gift card or voucher that permits you to stay for a night in a particular resort.  However, take note that retail prices of timeshares would naturally be higher compared to resale prices because the resort has to factor in the marketing costs.  On the other hand, buying timeshares through resale may often require a longer time because seller and buyer would naturally want to negotiate.
